Folly Farm Launch Annual Spooktacular, with Halloween Fun for Guests and Animals

Have you ever seen a Lowland Tapir bob for apples?

Tapir Bob enjoys his Halloween-themed treat

In the lead up to Folly Farm’s annual spooktacular, the Pembrokeshire zoo animals have been getting into the Halloween spirit by tucking into spooky treats.  From ludicrous lemurs to ravenous rhinos, the host of species haven’t been shy when getting stuck into their themed surprises.

Good luck taking this African Lioness’s Treat!

Not quite your usual Halloween goodie bags, most of the spooky surprises included creepy crawlies as well as fruit and vegetables, depending on the species.

Happy little camper! This Banded mongoose at Folly Farm is seen smiling ear to ear whilst tucking into some spooky treats

The 120-acre zoo, which boasts 17 different rides in its fairground, 8 adventure play areas, and over 750 animals, will soon transform into a Halloween Boo Bash. Please find details on the family-friendly event below:
